food in compination with lifting heavy objectives up & down can help you gaining muscle.not creatine.

Got acl torn 3 mlnth ago waiting for an operation in 2 month...

My leg got atrophy from my *support* i had for 3 weeks..
I wonder if creatine would help me gain the muscle back?

Actually creatine isn't a bad idea but not for exactly that reason. It can help increase contractile strength in the tissue and it's good for overall cellular health.

But your best bet is movement. If the area feels fine and there isn't significant nerve damage, then just moving the surrounding joints using resistance will help get you caught back up. Time and movement. If the damage runs into the nervous system movement is still the answer, although electrical stimulation may help so long as it's not overdone. Do what you can to reduce inflammation, too :) Basically the muscle needs to be able to do work to grow.

I can't tell you if you'll fully recover your size but unless it's really bad then you should be back in form within a few months.

You'll lose a lot regardless after the operation, months of rehab are usually required to gain the muscle back. Usually the operation also weakens the graft hamstring so it will at best reach 60-80% (sources vary) of its maximal strength (compared to the untouched hamstring)

I can vouch this. My fuckin hammy is weak. Flexibility is also less than what it was but I'm hoping I can rehab it to close to what it once was.

Stick a tens machine and set it to "russian" parameter to stimulate contraction of that weak quad. Extend the leg along with the machine, but just dont blow your quad.
