Actually creatine isn't a bad idea but not for exactly that reason. It can help increase contractile strength in the tissue and it's good for overall cellular health.
But your best bet is movement. If the area feels fine and there isn't significant nerve damage, then just moving the surrounding joints using resistance will help get you caught back up. Time and movement. If the damage runs into the nervous system movement is still the answer, although electrical stimulation may help so long as it's not overdone. Do what you can to reduce inflammation, too
Basically the muscle needs to be able to do work to grow.
I can't tell you if you'll fully recover your size but unless it's really bad then you should be back in form within a few months.
