I just wanna know the main difference between an intel i7 and intel i5
I’m assuming the i7 is the better choice but I would just like to know is there a major difference ? Or if there isn’t it can save me couple bucks etc . Thanks for the help

i7 is usually a tad faster, and more importantly has hyper threading, which comes in handy for things like streaming while gaming.

/e CPUs with hyper threading act like they have twice as many cores.

The i7's in the 8000 series have HT, in the 9000 series the i9's have HY. Or simultaneous multi threading as it's called by Intel.
