Spastic ink probably just takes more time monotonous learning than anything else... thats kinda what I think about Thomas Haake. Except the fact he has taken the monotonous intricate learning of each song to the most extreme level you take take it... to a seemingly inhuman level with the way he does it on each album.

Something like this from Bobby Jarzombek is much more beneficial to learn - go for the groovy tasteful drumming and it might just rub off on your improvs
However I don't think you should be doing songs of our choice anyway!!
