May be interested in taking the top spots in the first week if the group isnt to big and skilled enough. Can play whatever is needed, but would prefer Blizz sorc or CE Nec.

Group shouldnt exceed 4 people to ensure 4/8 Hell cs runs at the max.

People should have atleast 2 or 3 days off work after the weekend.

And after 4-5 Days you start 2/8ing because of greed for exp. Just why?
This makes people quit imo. For new players, or players who cannot run cs by themselves, it's not fun to come online and see no games up, people 2/8ing instead and not letting anybody join their runs.
Play public and keep the very small community alive. There's literally no competition anymore, not like ten years ago.

Sorry for O/T but I think this kills D2 even more (besides botting).

You have a valid point, with a good working pub and no noob actions its nice.
On the other hand, public cs is not always so nice.. bad manners, slacking, attempts of pk, hazardous tp's, having to load barb sorc and pala because you have 2 necs and 3 amazons in party... etc
So it has pros and cons. For me it depends, togheter with stef f.e. we did alot of 2/8's but also alot of publics. King Europeanfriends, #1 pal of previous ladder did loads of pubs and 1/8 ofc. Many will remember, im sure.

I agree with you concerning bad manners, pk attempts etc., but... you can still exclude these players by making priv if you have a full run. And go public again when people leave. No need to exclude "new" players right from the beginning.

And I don't see a big deal loading barb/sorc/pala when you have many nec/ama "leechers" in your party, loading barb/sorc is exactly what you do in 2/8, no?
I was soloing cs many times this ladder with pala and barb/sorc loaders and had some other players joining me for leeching or hanging out or actually killing something or whatever.

And yes, I saw EF doing public runs this ladder. There is a chance that I joined you from time to time. But I also saw many 2/8 teams, which is totally understandable when you are lvl 92+, but I don't see a point in 4/8, 3/8, 2/8ing the first week(s) of the ladder.


edit: One thing I hate: people leeching the whole cs and grabbing the good shit from dia that's the worst manner imo. Experienced this so many times.

100% agree !
if you play for fun, pub games > 2/8
you get new friends, you have time to talk, you give exp to new player
you keep the community alive !

when people learn manners maybe ill do pubs.

tbh if people stop dying like flies i'd do pubs. i hate to always wait on people that cant keep up with the speed of experienced players. joining late, rebo needed, joining first tp late when first boss already down, almost dying while WALKING to 2nd seal, standing ontop of seis spawn and crying because they stand on seis spawn while you hit the seal. it makes me sick watching people beeing angry because theyre not fast or skilled enough to keep up.

sure 8/8 runs are fun when everyone is fast and skilled, buti dont really want to play with either EF guys (nothin against you) or noobs. thats why im planning to 4/8 or less. less players = less chance of failure.
