Any advice or recommendations on beginner class, what to do etc?

start a seasonal character
dh is very good for start this season due to good starting set
use this guide for levelling
Getting 1-70 Quick Solo
otherwise look for a deeper one on yt or buy a power levelling on trade section of this site
as soon as you reach level 70 try to do journey quest, they'll drop you a full set once done.
this season give you double caches so as soon as you reach t6+ it worths to run bounties
alternate rift for materials and grift for upgarding legendary gem

google for builds, there are a lot of variation (speedrift, bounties, solo and group pushing, etc)
you can also check on yt what build you like the most, unless you aim at the top rank, any builds can perform decently

Wow this sounds like a good game. Deep immersive story for the player to discover. I bet in such a good game there ain't gonna be bosses pop up every few minutes explaining exactly what they are up to and going like muhahahaaa you never defeat meh. Just a great game for the players and not a generic shite game that would be designed to smear out over as much consoles and hand helds as possible to please the shareholders

devs followed correctly diablo 2, giving to players the possibility to easily skip all the history being rushed skipping most quests

Incorrect, rushing in D2 involved going past all of the act bosses. Instead of fixing it D3 went completely overboard by allowing players to be invited to the last act, basically skipping all content and strategy

incorrect, you can sit in town and just leech while someone other is getting rushed.
you can also totally skip at least one act boss.
