While that is true, losing Harper would be a great loss.

cardinals doing stuff!

would love to still pursue harper, but more likely cards go after a proven reliever or two and maybe a back end starter and call it a day

i love the trade, but weaver as is could be a capable cost controlled 4-5 starter, and if he ever develops that 3rd pitch he could be more.

kelly hasnt been given enough consistent playing time to fully judge, but hes a solid but unspactacular glove first catcher like matheny was but he still has a chance for more as well.

both players are high floor guys
