They pretty much managed to fuck up Starcraft Broodwar while remastering it. It blew over since no one gave a shit and it cost like $5 - $10. That's why I feel like this fiasco will have way more eyes on them to deliver a spotless product even though people were largely okay dropping a few bucks on a remastered, broken, and old as fuck RTS. It's still amongst the great timeless classics, but Blizzard kinda walked it off.

I don't really have high hopes for Blizzard executing on a successful remaster.

Even if they release Diablo 4 we all know its gonna be 100x worse than D3.
I mean they just showed us they dont give a f about the community, all about that $$ now.

I know companies like the one who makes Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes (blanking on name now) actually have Devs that will comment on the Reddit about the game.

They are not caring about this franchise. So outsourcing game to some cheap chinese company is a pretty good business decision IMO. Their destination market is Asian market, they've even put an Asian on scene to make it obvious

Diabo Immortal will make 1000x more than any dead game remaster. Who will gonna buy D2 again for a better visuals ? Bot owners ? Nope, it's an obstacle. Maybe a half of the current real ( around 1000) game population and 2-3 x more nostalgia bound former players. But who more ? Also, I suspect as soon as remaster appear, it will be hacked and people will just use vanilla cd-keys with modified clients
