Whittaker been having issues and Izzy has that knee problem
Be nice to see them both sit for a minute and heal up then fight each other close to 100% as possible
They both need a break
I give the slight edge to Whittaker but one thing can't deny on Izzy is how quickly he has been improving from his first fight to the other night
Kelvin is no joke, not sure why a lot of people are downing him and discrediting Izzy's win so badly other than just being bitter and not liking him
I think Izzy can catch Whittaker, he just needs to find his range early and not get tagged right out the gates like vs Kelvin cause that definitely played a little factor
He doesn't have the brute strength like Romero, but what he does have is that sniper accuracy and Whittaker isn't really known for being a super defensive striker, although he is a little more on the awkward side
Whittaker usually excels vs southpaws with his karate/boxing hybrid style, which is why I think he'll have his hands full with izzy, who switches stances more than anyone in MW. However I feel Whittaker will win unless izzy performs better than he has ever done before, which he's capable of, he has such a high skill ceiling imo
Izzy looked slow even in the early rounds vs Gastelum & Gastelum almost knocked izzy out with a headkick which surprised izzy alot. Whittaker has some of the best punch/kick combos in the UFC, and the sneakiest headkick in the game
So hyped for this fight
