just read what attila wrote... you can't get ridicolous def stacks on chars like druid because you miss the crazy skill based multipliers that chars like barbs and palas have. so great lets say you have massive extra deff on druid so you get like 5kdeff instead of 3k. doesnt do shit... melees will still slice through you like butter

Fort gives you lvl 15 chilling armor. That's 115% bonus to defense. To me an extra 6-700 defense plus the defense Bonus is more usefull than a shitty 30/60/9/9 but hey we can't all agree on everything right guys

correct, we can't agree on everything but 700 more def won't change anything against any character that will try to hit you with ar check.
on the other hand 30% ed 60 ar 9 str 9 dex is something i'd take from a single sox on a melee char 24/7

ok i'll try to explain it easier, as everyone got it except you.
defence make huge difference when you have huge difference in defence.

your armor will most likely count against bvc/charger/melee dru/zealer

the worst between these character will have at least 18k+ ar
a melee dru that doesn't rely on defense would have let's say 4k def
a melee dru full focused on defense would have let's say 8k def

do you think any of the above character will notice difference while slicing through you?

spoiler: answer is no, go focus on something that isn't def on a character that isn't a pala or baba

edit: i'd love to wager duel your defense dru against my barb. your 302 fg against 660 from me.

Your a retarded dude. I said I want to see a 200ed erep pelt. The only difference is 700 defence(1400+ after bonus) for a 30-60-9-9 because you cannot get 2 O's with 200 Ed. I'm not talking about stacking defnece I'm talking about being Superior to the majority. You obv cannot stack the shit out of defence on a druid. But you can have a fuckload more than everyone else, knowing that noone has a pelt with 700 defence, and be Superior in a melee duel.

I do not have a druid ATM for 90% of my gears and chars are gone but if you'd like to lose in a duel I will be on after work. 4-5 et.
