Just because he got a knockdown in their MMA fight doesn't mean he has better boxing, when you have to worry about the takedown and grappling skills of someone like Khabib it's much harder to showcase ur boxing skill. I bet that Khabib's boxing coach taught him to set up a td trap in order to throw an over right hand. Thats what I called mma boxing, so yes, a boxing coach will teach an mma athlete how to uses more efficiatly his stand up vs someone in front of you that can also throw kicks and other mma move
