Hey y'all. I need some prayer. Going through some rough times.

My cat is slowly dying. Her chest is filling up with fluid and slowly suffocating her. The procedure requires tapping her chest and draining the fluid. That's 200$. They also have to do it with an ultrasound active which is another 350 bucks. :(
I've already sold my Lever-action rifle to afford the last few vet visits. I only have 90 bucks left. I'm trying to sell my 30-06 to get her the procedure done.

Pray for me boys. I keep hoping and praying God will have mercy and allow this procedure to happen.

Maybe ask if you can setup monthly payments for the treatments, I'll still say a pray for your situation. God bless.

After going to four vet offices I found a good one. They hooked her up with all the necessary procedures and medications. I find out tomorrow if her purulent fluid is terminal or not.

Basically if it's FIP or just a random infection. It'll determine whether she dies or gets better. FIP has no cure and treatment only prolongs death.

God is good all the time -- and all the time -- God is good. The Good Lord giveth and the Good Lord taketh away but he's still the Good Lord.

I pray she makes it through the night. She's struggling to breathe again and the vet doesn't open until 0700 CST. 6 1/2 hours to go.

Thank you and yes. She's 8 years old; born to an animal shelter in Manhattan, Kansas July 2010. So far she's on antibiotics and we're trying to stabilize her. She's had two rounds of chest tap and drain and is loving it so far. The vet says when he works on her, she'll roll onto her side and start purring. Haha she's a cutie.

Gidget passed away today. She had to be put down in the end. Her chest cavity was filling with fluid too quickly to maintain a healthy lifestyle. If it filled up once a month or so then she might have been okay. Her chest was filling up within a few days after each operation. I held her and cried my goodbyes as she slowly faded under the anesthesia. It was a good run. Thank you to everyone who helped us in the last week.

I miss her dearly. She was my best friend.

Thank you sir. God provided me a dog today. He needed a home and I needed a friend. I had arranged to take him a few weeks ago after my cat passed on. It was meant to be because he is what I've been wanting for years. A bird hunting dog with a brown brindle pattern. His name is Argo and he's a Hungarian Vizsla.

Here was one of the last pictures I took of Gidget. I feel bad because I told her I was taking her to get her chest drained again so she would feel better and instead I changed my mind and decided it was time to let her go.
I feel like it gets harder as you get older.
