if you buy save the world on pc and have xbox account linked would i be able to play on xbox? ive seen from other posts on epic forums that if you buy it on xbox you can play on pc and i also would like to know if you can gift save the world on pc (like how u can gift steam games) i really want to play it but ive waited so long i almost feel like i would be wasting my money i wish it would go half price again i also heard that someone found something in the code and it may come out oct 23 for the Halloween event
what do you guys think about this ?

Oh yeah and lets not forget that the gifting system just went live with last update has anyone tried it yet ?

some people have said its there but they could just be click baiter youtubers so i wasnt sure if it was actually working yet some say its in the files i think im wrong about it going live tho

Epic Games announced the Fortnite gifting system months ago, and we haven’t heard anything since. The ability to send skins, emotes, and other goodies to your fellow players is clearly wanted by the community.

Despite the rumors of a Fortnite gifting system being added in the 6.10 update, that sadly is not the case. There is absolutely no mention of gifts or gifting within the patch notes, and so players will have to wait even longer to send presents to their pals. Perhaps during the holiday season would be an appropriate ETA to expect it?

From what ive seen id say gifting will come in November. It looks like you will have to be friends with the person beforehand for atleast 8 days to even be able to gift them anything. So if anyone is looking trade in the near future start adding each other to your epic friends. Again this is just rumors and based off 1 screenshot i saw online.
