i don't think any gpu supports 6 monitors natively.
could be wrong but you may need 2 gpu's

We run Radeon 7700 eyefinity series at work, not sure if you're looking for something more performance related than that.

1080ti

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XVG7M23/ref=psdc_284822_t3_B06XXZBPHZ
seems 1080ti only supports 4 monitors per card so i would need 2

ill have to wait another week to save up and buy it as im over budget by 1k

my plan for 8 monitors:
minor stock trades in the morning (im still a huge noob at this)
then pull up as many d2 windows as possible to see if i can watch 56 bots run at one time if not i dont have enough monitors / video cards or screen area

im gonna make this wet dream happen!!!!!!!!

you can get 2x 1060's

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IPVSLTC/ref=as_li_ss_tl?tag=mmcdl-20

much cheaper than 1080 ti's :)

1050 ti's as well i believe :)

REALLY depends on what you plan on doing with them.
If you plan on doing ANYTHING gaming related you'll need something better than the 1060's listed above.

If you plan on doing display purposes I would go with 2x Vega 56/64's, if you plan on doing gaming I wouldn't go any less than 2x 1080ti's

I ran 4x monitors for awhile, with a single 1080ti and my performance was pretty bad with iRacing.

EDIT: Something else to note, the type of monitor makes a huge difference as well. (165hz/60hz - 1080p/1444p etc) I was running 144hz on the 4 monitors which cause the performance issues. When running at 120hz it was a bit better but only really good at 60hz.

i run a lot of virtual machines and that requires a lot of ram / cpu power but im going to move it to dedicated hardware that has 2x xeons with additional phi coprocessors on ubuntu as i am bottlenecked at 56 instances right now. I already got my roi back for my hardware investment 3 years ago so updates would help me run a greater number of clients. I used to think my limiting factor was cdkeys and finding non banned vpns but no its a 100% a hardware scaling issue. Also if i move to a clientless option the number of instances that are possible would be enormous, but support/ maintenance/patches of the system would be difficult as my programming skill level is still basic to average at best in c++ so i will have to compensate with increasing system power and use known proven botting systems. Its less about a game and more about how much (items = dollars) can i find per watt of power used (dont worry i have solar) and how fast can i inventory it then put it on mule accounts and not get overwhelmed when doing the daily xfer. So if i can find graphics cards that work with server hardware that would be very useful. Currently i use the gnome fallback desktop and just fill the workspace with running vms and d2 instances switch between difference workspaces. It gets really confusing when i have an item on workspace 2 vm 4 d2 instance 6 account rrrddd char uuuu game rrr///rrr and have to move it to workspace 8 vm 12 d2 instance 50 account dduessaa char ttyyuu game eeee///eeee (items being moved omg fml i want to die and dropper item management server does help a lot but still fml hair is gonna get pulled out also screaming might occur...)
