every time im vs. velkoz/sona/raka/lux/etc I have such a miserable time in lane

am I forced to take fleet + doran shield?

at 15min im behind like 30cs or something.

do I need to play more ranged ad's?
i've been spamming kaisa/trist but if kaisa is banned or picked I feel useless as trist vs. poke.

Worth learning champs like xayah,cait,ez who are safe champs?

going to ban velkoz from now on.. these gold5 1,000game 1-tricks are too much for me

Here some stuff id suggest but take into note i havent played since like season 5


Shove the lane -they cant really poke you when they need to worry about the minions wave(but this kinda makes u gankable)

Initiator supp- all ins with ali usually work just be careful on the 2v2 but usually poking champs are squishy or immobile

Shove and early recall to buy boots- most poke champs poke are skillshots so yea...

Outside of learning to dodge skillshots or play super safe - playing aggro champions (Leona, Lucian, etc.) who can make it a kill lane, a pushing lane (Sivir, Caitlyn, etc.) that deny them the chance to poke you out, sustain (Sona, Raka, Nami though they're part of your problem too) to heal up.

Both Kai'sa and Tristana are weak laners early on and rely almost exclusively on autos to farm, so when you pick these champions you need to know your limits and realize when you need to take a step back.

1) Start Doran Shield
2) Pick engage and kill them
3) Push the lane and use minions to deny poke
4) Just miss a couple CS
