Battled Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for decades. Finally succumbed to the disease.

He was heavily involved in technology throughout his life, including funding the development of the Stratolaunch, the world's largest aircraft by wingspan and an aerial LEO rocket launching platform.
