I think riot is still working on the grade system. They may have plans to use it later but as of now it doesnt mean much or at least doesnt do anything as far as we know currently

are you talking about flex or solo?

cuz if you didn't play flex last season I can kinda see why you'd place silver

also gets affected by who you played with (if you played with people who were bronze or silver in flex it makes sense)

Your mmr was probably lower than gold 5

I wouldnt doubt it at all since you seem to have struggled getting there based on many of your jsp threads

So after the soft reset it placed you even lower than the typical gold 5 mmr players

When people are diamond one and they place after a new season they place a max of platinum one I believe. Just to put it into perspective for you

So from gold 5 rank (with and end season silver mmr) to placing low silver isnt uncommon even if you won 7 games

as for why you placed silver 4 in solo your rank soft resets at the begining of every season so if your mmr was still around silver its possible

e : back on topic @OP you're most likely in silver mmr and depending on what rank/mmr the people you're playing with in flex are you're probably not going to get gold after your placements.

Well my MMR currently says it’s much higher than the average player in my rank.
Can’t say what it was before.
I mean I still had low low silver players on my team vs an all gold team this last game.
MMR still saying it’s much higher and MMR on my team was lower than mine. Only one had my MMR and he didn’t suck ass.

Not sure. I guess I just need to learn how to carry harder and hope my lanes don’t int too hard as usual..?
