Start with 3 sockets (not with 2 as in the YouTube video)
Color them all blue (120 chromatics)
Start making the 4th socket using the trick
every try and undo will cost you 13 jewellers
Start making the 5th socket using the trick
every try and undo will cost you 80 jewellers
Keep the red socket for last will cost you 350 jewellers (if unlucky you get a blue or green and have to do it again :) )

I make my Bronn's Lithe (evasion armour) with off color sockets every season this way.
And there is no difference by getting off color on strength based or evation based armours.
Follow these two.
Cross check the total cost of jeweler method.
I typically do it by checking a 3 link item with same attribute requirement in vorici calc. How many tries will it take to get 1b when using a chrome? Multiply that by 3 (as you need that blue to hit the 4th socket, followed by 5th to work).
Once you know total jeweler cost convert to chaos cost then concert the 8900 chromes into chaos and you know which is the cheapest way if RNG is on your side.
