Wanting to do dual monitor.

Wondering if I can do a tv and monitor or would it need to be two monitors
Also how would this work if I only have one hdmi port on the card? Do a DVI and then HDMI and HDMI being to the main monitor?
Or HDMI splitter?

you can do monitor/tv and use hdmi for main and dvi/hdmi adapter for tv

Sweet thats alot cheaper than a hdmi splitter

just want a second monitor to watch twitch/youtube/videos while I game

If you have a smart TV you can use the twitch tv channel (I forget the actual name. It's not by twitch but you can watch twitch on it), or case from your phone to your TV.
Otherwise DVI to HDMI adapter should work fine if it's just for a secondary monitor.

it doesnt matter if u use display port, hdmi or dvi.. and u dont have to get an adapter, u can simply get a hdmi to dvi cable
displays will usually be ordered dp > hdmi > dvi - meaning the first one plugged in will be the primary
but again this doesnt matter because u can change primary display in nvidia control panal - make sure u set it as windows will allways launch games on primary
u wanna run the same resoluton on both screens, windows dont like when its different



depends on the smart tv, if its old u might have to buy a chrome cast device, but its a android tv u can download the twitch app or cast from phone (but the quality depends on ur wifi signal i'd say)

Im aiming for no wifi just pure corded for my internet needs reason I'm wanting to dual monitor from a PC rather then smart TV.
Only reason I even asked about tv is because I have a spare 24inch one I'll prob just throw In my bedroom instead of the little 7 inch I have in there now and get myself another monitor but a cheap one

So a dvi from my PC to HDMI will be fine to play on while having HDMI for my main monitor?
And a dvi to HDMI cable will be fine vs adapter?
