Oh God, this recap episode is painful

They always are... One of the things I absolutely loathe about anime and I've never understood why they don't do away with them.

This one was so bad I almost wish it was a traditional recap episode.
They just had some pointless audio playing over cut scenes...

Ouch... think I'll skip it entirely. The episode before was pretty entertaining. Curious to see where this show goes.

Is the manga much further ahead?

The anime ended pretty much right where the current scanned chapter is at. (maybe just a bit before)

Interesting... that's a first.

happens more often then you would think.
for example Maou-sama Retry is airing in the summer and currently there's only like i think a dozen chapters out for that, so it'll definitely go well beyond the manga as we have it.

this is only taking into consideration the scanulated chapters though.
there could be a stack of untranslated chapters but i dunno, the releases are fairly far apart so maybe that's not the case.
