Well shit, I'm fairly split.

It started out pretty phenomenally, but clearly all characters that we encounter (that matter) from now on, join the party, etc.. are going to have plot armor. I'm curious to see where this goes and I'm hoping they don't just try to turn it into a straight dick mashing series for the fuck-boys out there who hate shit that's actually good.

It has potential, but I'm not so sure about this one.

Anyone know about the source material, is there much out there?

This is really good so far. I like the dark theme. Not many Anime out there similar to this. Only ones I can think of is Berserk and Claymore.

Edit: Okay, now after watching Episode 2. The mood and tone kind of shifted a litttle. Still pretty good so far though. Thought it was going to go down a different path.

Same... Was hyped after episode 1 and then 2 says fuck the dark theme, we've got tits and plot armor .

I'll keep watching, but this seems like another pointless T&A show with little real substance.

Manga has been a great read so far.
The anime has been great too, sucks about censoring but you gotta live with that until blu-rays.

It's been good, but it's headed into a lameish direction.

Seems like the majority of people are into it simply because of the rape/cum covered maiden bullshit, but it's well written and the MC seems fairly interesting. It could get good, but like I said previously, it sucked me in with the first episode (you'll understand when you watch it), and I was hyped as fuck. Second episode comes around and I realize that that's all they had... It's an insanely good hook and it's the promise of more epicness, but I'd be willing to bet not a single character of relevance dies anytime in the near future and then ya, it's all just about tits, rape and seeing goblin cum on girls if the unpredictably violent goodness is stripped away.
