How about the fact that sauna use is contraindicated in people with CKD? I’ve been studying anatomy for 4 years.. I’m a nurse, and I’m working towards my MSN as a NP.. detoxing in a sauna is retarded, about as dumb as apple cider detox.

literally what does any of that have to do with the discussion

you're an idiot

and your non sequitars, false equivalencies, dogmatic line of thought and attempts to cite your perceived sense of authority instead of actual evidence are an indictment of the quality of medical education wherever you live

Says the guy that thinks using a sauna is a reliable way of detoxing the body. Actual evidence is knowledge on how the body works and I have plenty of scientific journals that say literally the opposite of what you’re trying to tell everyone. Don’t believe me, go to google and type this in “ “perspiration for detoxing” site:.edu”

Let me know what you find

so post these plenty of scientific journals that literally show the opposite of my claim that you excrete various types toxins and toxicants via sweating?

"Actual evidence is knowledge on how the body works"

like I said, an indictment of the quality of medical education, or atleast of the students

I’m too lazy, you’re the only person here that stoically believes something that is 100% incorrect. The burden of proof isn’t on me, it’s on you. And I’m at work, I don’t have time to go back and forth.

Good luck aligning your chakras and shit though, I’m sure it’ll detox the fuck out of you.

more dumb false equivalenices, more lack of research supporting your point

never mind the review done on over 20 studies showing that various heavy metals are excreted in sweat, often surpassing blood and urine levels

never mind the case reports of mercury levels normalizing with repeated saunas after acute exposures, or the fact that sweat therapy been used effectively throughout recorded history to curb mercury poisoning in cinnabar miners

never mind the successful trial of sauna therapy to treat chronic symptoms in law enforcement officers after chemical exposures

never mind that various toxicants including persistant organic pollutants and bpa have been found to be excreted via sweat

never mind the various researchers calling for further research to be done on sauna therapy as a promising method of excreting cumulative toxicants that are ubiquitous in modern society

none of that matters because you heard in school one time that sauna detoxification was a myth, and you totally know heaps about the human body, therefore you can't be wrong! oh and did i forget the vague notion you have that you're on the side of science and that any of this is somehow equivalent to outlandish conspiracy theories and "aligning chakras"?

surely you must realise how dogmatic and asinine your lines of reasoning are (if you can call it reasoning), you haven't come close to anything resembling a reasonable point in this entire thread

the takeaway should be that, using a sauna is awesome, using an infrared sauna is better, and you should try to work it into your routine, maybe a couple times a week.
