every single day my computer tells me Java has a new update available and when I click it to check for update it says it already has the latest updates...?

anyone else get that?

it makes a random popup within like 5 - 10 mins of my computer being on. sometimes it happened when I was gaming, etc and it alt tabs me basically. and its just annoying. do I need to re-install java?

There are THREE malwares I've seen that create popups saying you need an update... Mozilla Firefox an Java and Flash Player.

If you have their updates set to automatic, then ignore those messages. If you DO have Ad infections for any of these, try https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/

It should be in your START > Programs. You can also navigate to the executable and right click and choose: Send to Desktop (create shortcut)

Along with ADWcleaner, you might want to run Malwarebytes as well. After running both of those programs you should be fine.
