what can i expect in terms of degradation and wear on parts from a stage 1 on a 2018 a4?

depends are going to drive like a douche tuner racing every grandma who happens to be next to you at a red light, or still drive like a normal person?

if the later nothing should change.

also id make sure to find out if audi will void your warranty over the tune.

the warranty getting voided is guaranteed which is why i'm wondering about the wear an tear from a stage 1 tune and if it can be mitigated with an accelerated service schedule

honestly if your not hammering on it all the time just doing a tune should have no adverse affects unless the person doing it has no clue what they are doing

A tune will not void warranty nor will a stage 1 hurt anything. I'd recommend swapping out the coils/plugs but for a stage 1 that wouldn't be totally necessary. APR works with many dealers. Some dealers apply the APR tune at their dealership.
