My personal opinion is I'd be all for more consistency in larger cases (meaning the public people with large audiences) which is far more doable than playing the fair game with a bunch of rands with small audiences but Twitter and the others can do what they want.

Organize in a productive way and maybe you can get more consistency out of companies you feel are inconsistent
