Why doesnt she delete the tweets and reword them to make the same general points but without violating the tos she agreed to follow when making the account?

Who says that twitter took offense with just her specific choice of words, and not with the actual content of her tweets?

How do the tweets violate the ToS? Twitter won't say, but they do tell her which tweets are "hate speech", so we all can make an informed opinion based on the content of what she said.
