Why would someone buy it for 8m gold and not just wait a week or two & spend a quarter of that or less?

i dont think it will drop that much. theres so few of them being made that i dont think it would drop that cheap for a while

The mount is very long to farm it wont drop fast and i dont think it will go under 2m ever

yup. took me 42 mythic + to farm the recipe alone (after managing to max out engineering which wasnt exactly fun) and then many many hours of mythic 0 to get the mats (with groups that were willing to help me farm them). also you can only make 1 a week max (assuming you have the patience to spend 20hrs+ in mythic 0 per week)
