Honestly, i have no clue LOL

I got so frusterated after i tried everything. nothing was working. so i just let it go until the morning, got on. clicked my wifi and it connected. so honestly i have no clue what happened... lol

I have had similar issue and result. I realized I had accidentally entered my password wrong for Wifi and each time I tried to use that wifi it uses that incorrect pw, so nothing happens, and wifi doesnt tell you wrong password all the time.. at least with windows 8.1

The workaround is to find the connection from the list then select to 'forget' the connection, then select it from the list of available again and you can re enter pw.

Depending on what you tried, you likely restarted or turned off PC and also the connection forgot/windows re populated wifi connections and auto connected to your PC and your modem completing its checks and balances due to an instance of ISP lag/terminal update
