Me neither, but it's just when it's 20-30 years later and it's something stupid to sell more issues or w/e. Comics are all ridiculous to begin with and it's always annoyed me how eventually every single person a comic book character has ever known is now somehow a hero too. It detracts from the whole universe when every other person is a superhero or special (secret agent etc...). Gotta have a large enough average joe to super joe ratio for me to still be interested.

Just a personal pet peeve, but clearly I was wrong in this instance and this is 100% a personal thing.

I really think his parents death mostly would have affected his childhood most likely becoming a loner which is why he is also not popular. His Grandparents were the biggest infulences Peter had and they made him who he was, his Grandfathers death really hurt Peter and made him who he was as a person learning from his mistakes.

His parents they mentioned briefly because it is part of the story but not important.

My instinct is to give you a pass on this one. We're all allowed the occasional brain fart. Please tell me that you know Peter's relationship to the old couple that raised him and we can all sleep better at night.

Its been like 10+ years since I watched any Spiderman. I assume they didnt just go and change the whole story.
