not as many people, easier to get noticed but not as many people to watch you

Twitch has better servers, less compression which keeps your streams looking nicer (if your rig and internet can handle it), better integration for streaming utilities, but like Graf said it's so overly bloated/popular that it's hard to get your channel off the ground. Tbh though you could stream to both platforms simultaneously. Build an audience on both and advertise your Twitch on your Mixer.
