idk if its worth buying gold in this game, seems overpriced IMO, as one pokemon can sell for over 100k easy. I'm still pretty new and don't even know about IVs/EVs n shit but yea 2k fg for 500k gold seems like a lot. One thing I've noticed is theres no real stable market in the game, you see the shittiest pokemon trying to be sold at 30k+ its like wtf?? idk maybe it was an orange IV'd one and I didnt notice at the time but still, 30k for a pikachu, pass.
yea not all pokemon are worth the money you really need to know your pokemon and their pvp/pve aspects before deciding to buy it.
there are pokemon worth 200k there are pokemon worth 1-2 mil
i would say if you are going to go balls deep into pvp getting ample supply of cash is needed if you just want to play the game and have fun do it cause cash will still come to you
edit: after both leagues are finished it is getting cash after that which can be rough and there are several ways to do it by catching pokemon helping ev train pokemon searching for items like Big mushrooms and heart scales ect
