It was probably before your time but you used to get kicked from groups if you attempted an mq while in groups and the leader left due to mqing.

So people who leave are USUALLY old school slashers who just do that routinely still. I see less and less people who do this today.

My favorite myth is shittier your climb the more chance to pass your mq.. I used to join crappy climbs on purpose just to pass (actually good results)

Choosing your keys slowly instead of instantly is better. Almost all of my 4/5 key passes were me choosing the combo for like 5 minutes, I've tried using a rand key as soon as they appear and I've had 20-30 fdfs so far probably, no matter how many keys there are. I think I only ever opened a door with fast keying once or twice ( once for sure cause it happened recently ).

Dying a few times increases your chances of finding something good in the current climb and climbs later on. I think it's working in SC, but I'm waiting for someone @ HC to confirm this though.

Believe it all you want, but its false. I one shot EP's all the time with double cast and still get a ton of 5-30 level items.

i die few times every time i solo and i find craps : D

also died about 400times with one of my chars in one climb ~ and died like 1700times the other time ^^

This thread is pretty funny. I definitely agree with a couple and some I think are crazy.

Definitely feels like beginners luck in this game when it comes to picking up the decent drops. Hitting a monster longer seems to mean you will get better/more drops most of the time.

Whenever you need a well, you will NOT find one no matter how long you look. Whenever you don't need one, you'll find 5 in the same map xD

I've always found this from day 1 since I started playing. When you have 5% life or less better drops seems to happen more. Might be because the monster is stronger, but I've purposefully left health like that against easy monsters and still seem to get more better drops than not. I also die a lot doing this :D
