I mean one of the guys from the witch was involved... So I'm guessing it's good but not for everyone. I haven't seen it but someone I know said it's very different, not really scary but it is disturbing. So... Again... If you liked the witch sounds like you will like hereditary.

Yeah I saw it in theaters.

It had potential, I thought it was on track to be really good. Then it kind of plateaus and just becomes ‘eh’. The ending is fucking stupid beyond all belief

The acting was great by pretty much everyone. It seems like the writers had a great idea, put in a ton of effort to make it good. Then just ran out of ideas so decided on the dumb shit they used instead

I really rated it. Caught it in cinemas too, with a packed out crowd the feeling was palpable at times. Would’ve recommended you see it like that.

As blah said, it’s a bit disturbing as opposed to basic jump scares


Very solid movie imo

Great acting, story is pretty good, then the end is just bad.

But it’s really tense.

I really liked it. Ending could have been slightly better but it's worth a watch.
