Which is better and why?

Leoric has substantial boosts to skeletons, but does it outweigh fanaticism aura?

use king leoric to make skells(prebuff) then switch to beast.. much more dps with beast..

or you can use beast iron golem..(if pvm) pvp is waste... :D

You could also switch to hoto after summoning for the 40 fcr/+3 corpse explosion/+3 amp/40 res/15% max mana/20 rep

Your skeleton dps with hoto isn't too far from beast, but you get all of the other stats with it.

It's more than viable, if not better.

When using CE and enigma/tele, hoto all the way. Mobility+res+fast CE are way more comfortable than some extra dps from skellies. Leoric+boneflame/shrunkhead for precast, Hoto/Spirit for killing/moving.

You might as well go Arm if you hoto is considered viable. Apart from curses (who tf needs points to curses) you'd get more points towards your summons and 2 to pnb. And still, fanaticism > hoto/arm/any non beast weapon

Never noticed much of a difference between hoto and beast as far as kill speed (pvm) so my pick would be hoto

Your amp radius needs to be as high as possible so it hits everything within corpse explosion range with 1 cast
Your corpse explosion radius needs to be as high as possible to get the highest dps out of it

+3 all skills is also +3 teleport (lower mana cost), +3 skeleton (potentially giving you an extra summon), +3 iron golem/golem mastery (only really matters in chaos but whatever) and +3 bone armor if you took a value point

Ignoring all that, you don't even hit the fcr breakpoint with beast so you needed to go hoto anyway
