How big of an IRL loser do you have to be to bot the game and create problems for everybody?

Can you explain how spending an hour to set up a bot makes someone more of a loser than manually mfing for a thousand hours per season to finish one char?

During that ban wave they also banned people for sharing accounts with people who used unflagged cdkeys but whose ip was flagged (which is something they've never done before other than the chest hack ban wave 13 years ago)
It was possible to have accounts banned without anyone ever loading cheats on it or using a cheater's cdkeys on it.

There's a difference between punishing someone for their actions and punishing someone for helping people. Especially if nobody ever loaded anything on the account.
