unless you meant owning physical copies for nostalgic reasons, you can still find 1.00 and 1.07 CDs online, as well as all (or at least most) patches for Classic and LoD

Couldn't be more wrong.

Ruins anybody using old style cd keys, period. The reason doesn't matter.

Even if you bought physical copies and haven't played for years, you're done. How is that an action against bots?

Pretty sure my last 2 sets of keys are done. My only "mistake" was not playing or reading blizzard forums.

I bet a lot of people just come back after years of not playing. I used to play this game religiously and only come back from time to time. When there's no updates or changes for years you tend to figure its always the same.



didn't the update just force you to use the 26 digit key instead of the 16? if thats the case then no it didn't ruin bots.
