Hey guys. Long time no see for a lot of you.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Trying to figure out the best player to take in my draft tonight.
PPR League - 10 Team - Snake Draft

I have Pick #7. I miss the big name studs early. My question is would you go RB or WR at this spot?

Possible options of what will be there:
Barkley, Hopkins, Julio, Kamara, Hunt, and OBJ
Feel like anything else is reaching or could come back to me at 14th pick

Kamara

eh, no way he repeats imo. he might still be a solid RB1, but no way he's averaging like 6ypc and 8 catches a week lol

ingram out 4 weeks helps, so maybe draft kamara, hope for some big games and then trade him at peak value?

i'd probably go OBJ or Julio, in ppr julio is still a beast and now that he's playing with an extra like $2M this year with promise of negotiation next year he's gonna be hungry

Mark Ingram isn’t even gonna be getting carries after saints see Kamara alone for 4 weeks

dude will never hold up lol as a 3 down back, and the saints never use them like that. they always love the change of pace, they even made scrubs like tim hightower look like RB1s lol

Why do you think that Kamara can’t be a 3 down back? He can run between the tackles

1) he got hurt like 3 times last year, just nothing major. they aren't gonna role him out like that and risk losing him

2) sean peyton has never used a 3 down back that i know of. as mentioned above, even when it was ingram around he used hightower like crazy. all those years with sproles and pierre thomas, and reggie bush etc

3) too lazy to look up more stats

i think kamara finishes a top 10 RB, sure, but i don't know that he's worth a top 10 overall pick. if i had to place him i'd put him at like 12-15 overall maybe? haven't really looked much yet

Barnwell put out a good piece on how there's like never a RB that posts back to back elite seasons lately. Last time someone did was LT and before that I think Shaun. I'd stay away from Kamara. He averaged like 6.0 per carry, no1 ever repeats that, not even the HOF guys. He averaged like 10 per catch as well and had 80 catches or something ridiculous. Not gonna happen.
History tells us he's going to regress. I would go for Jones.

based on this ESPN list

RANK, PLAYER POS TEAM POSRANK
1. Le'Veon Bell RB PIT RB1
2. Todd Gurley II RB LAR RB2
3. David Johnson RB ARI RB3
4. Ezekiel Elliott RB DAL RB4
5. Antonio Brown WR PIT WR1
6. Saquon Barkley RB NYG RB5
7. Alvin Kamara RB NO RB6
8. Julio Jones WR ATL WR2
9. DeAndre Hopkins WR HOU WR3
10. Odell Beckham Jr. WR NYG WR4
11. Kareem Hunt RB KC RB7
12. Dalvin Cook RB MIN RB8
13. Keenan Allen WR LAC WR5
14. Leonard Fournette RB JAC RB9
15. Melvin Gordon RB LAC RB10
16. Michael Thomas WR NO WR6
17. A.J. Green WR CIN WR7

I'd take julio, hopkins, OBJ, and possibly cook before kamara in PPR. hunt and fournette, probably not
