The The DHS/Office of Intelligence looked at rightwing violence a while back and came to this conclusion: "DHS/I&A assesses that lone wolves and small terrorist cells embracing violent rightwing extremist ideology are the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States."

Its not incorrect but it doesn't tell the whole story right now in 2018 either.

There was one conservative bombing that killed upwards of 150* people over 20* years ago and it ups the statistics as an outlier.
