We quit using asbestos because it is one of the most toxic substances man ever made, but we still manufacture it and sell it to the developing world. Why? The exact same reason: Capitalist ethics are devoid of any morality whatsoever.

Similarly, some of the big oil resellers here (Vitoil being a huge one) have been found to just mix loads of heavy metal residue and other toxic waste materials into their fuels that get shipped to the third world. Pretty fucked up.

On glyphosate: EU is going to ban it in 2022, with the cancer scare being the main reason.
