I built this PC a little over a year ago and notice that I have some issues running games. Not sure if it's my CPU can not handle games (fortnite takes up almost the entire CPU). But below is my current list and was wondering if it's worth it to get a new CPU + MOBO or keep as is.

Thanks :)

What clock speed are you running at?

OC to 4.5 Gz

Could have bumped it down though, will have to check again after work

Go for 4,7-4,8GHz. It shouldn't be a bottleneck in the mentioned games.

Would I need to boost my voltage to the CPU for that? I think I got it up to 4.5 max without changing the voltage and kind of timid to increase voltage

Yes you definitely need to up your voltage.

I have never upped the voltage on a CPU before, is there a certain way to do it? Just increase it slightly until I can get a stable OC @ like 4.7-4.8?

also, should I OC my graphics card or will that lead to further bottlenecking from my CPU?

GPU boost on pascal cards (1000series) do almost a prefect job overclocking.

Google what other people has their 6600k overclocks stable to. Try it out their values.
If it's succesful, then lower the voltage. If it crashes then up the voltage in increments.
You need to find the best clock per voltage.

Fortnite should not be using up that much of your CPU, it can be played on mobile phones...
Have you tried re-installing it to make sure there's no file corruption within the game?
What settings are you playing the game at?
Is the CPU reaching temps over 75 while gaming?
/e You don't have it installed on the firecuda do you?
