Wtf? Why are "gaming companies" somehow different from "other" companies in the way that people should behave and act? Just because Riot is a "gaming" company means that its employees can be douchebags, sexually harass people and mistreat some women? Do you actually believe that?

He never said that gaming companies "should" act a certain way.
He stated how it is.

IT departments in general are much more likely to be this way.

It's kind of unavoidable when you're only hiring people that spend their free time flaming each other on the internet and trying to prove how much better they are than random strangers.

anything tech related is going to have the "bro culture" they described in there besides maybe the one or 2 actually discriminatory things in that article. You should know what you're signing up for when you join a gaming company. If I did work in gaming, that would be exactly what I'd expect within a company like that.

Yeah I've seen quite a few examples of things like this over the years. I've always had the idea, that people willing to nit pick over how people act or react in a game are more than likely to be shit people themselves. Lo and behold!
