I wonder if this was possible, wouldn’t we have double charnames/accnames then? What would the solution be?

And yeah they should do it, but you should still be able to choose the best server to avoid lags. Like in Path of Diablo: one realm but different servers all over the globe

they actually merged the Asian servers I believe. Also the charnames each have a different number at the end of them which could be the only way to not have exact double names.
