my computer is decent. not amazing. but decent
i can run battlefield 1 at moderate settings with 60+fps as well as pretty much any game out atm
but path of exile a somewhat simple game cant seem to sustain over 30fps for me
ive lowered my settings to the floor tried all iterations of DX and antialiasing etc
tried dynamic res
literally everything
i dont have an ssd atm but this game should not require an ssd to function playably
just getting pissed off as it causes me to die often enough that its an issue
fps will drop below 10 randomly. not in insane 6 person games
i 99% of the time map solo
and find that sometimes it just dips to almost a standstill
pissing me off

ive heard poe REALLY doesn't like video cards from a certain brand

not sure what it is tho unfortuantely but this is something I've read a few times

used to have huge performance issues on my shitty laptop but i eventually bought a decent-ish one which fixed all my problems. gtx960 and ssd. maybe you should get a ssd, also i think radeon sucks for poe if you do use one

the problem is most likely not the gpu

i run at 60fps on 2440 x XXXX resolution on a 1050ti with all set to max

you need much cpu power ( more then you expect for such a game ... ) and an SSD

got a hexacore 1600x, 16 GB 3200 DDR4 and an m.2 SSD, works solid

performance is fine

and ive run on both brands of vid cards with no problems

my cpu is old as fuck and handles it fine, only 8gb of memory

SSD is certainly a game changer
