There's a disparity between the hardcore and softcore community, we don't understand you and you don't understand us. Let's change that with some of your favourite stories from your core (if its both, do both).

Years and years ago I had to run to the store in the middle of a hardcore climb, Natester said to not bother leaving he would make sure my character wouldn't die if I just afkd in the cata. I came back like 20 minutes later to the whole group just freaking out because we ran into sneaky and I was the only one with a sneaky killer ready. Lol whoops, they did all that to save some like two weeks old self found garbage (maybe a 50ee heal charm was the best thing), but natester said he would and he did.

(Might have been 7 shamans and I needed a guardian, having trouble remembering what they were actually fighting)

I do, I'm starting to play softcore and I wanna dewhinge as many as possible. You don't have any fun stories from playing this game?

Lots of stories what I mean is. There is no diff between the players in hc and sc it’s just a core. Nothing to understand

once upon a time I created a lvl 1 hard core player, went down into the catacombs, went onto jsp for a second, saw this thread, decided to post my startup story on this thread, went back to my hardcore player on ladder slasher, discovered that I died.

Fake news. Only hc character is lvl 22 with no deaths. No other characters on HC. No new characters created on SC. All SC characters have a time of last login of 16+ hours ago besides the one you are playing at lvl 21.

@OP -- Nate does exactly what he says he will do. Stand up player and amazing friend IRL. Sure do miss him around here. I contacted him about coming back in light of Paul's rewriting of the code but he has no plans to return
