Nice man!

I used the portable 350 version of the Rumble until the head went bang mid-gig earlier this year! Unfortunately I’ve been told the replacement part is discontinued.

I mostly play acoustic upright bass but I’ve got a fretless electric too. Will get some pics up at some point.

I’d be interested to see your Fender acoustic axe!

What kind of musical styles do you like to play?

Everything from Classical, James Jamerson, to Steve Harris.

I use to do some work with a rap group and I always thought that the on stage performance was lacking without instruments. That's why I originally started with bass, I knew a drummer at the time and we could make rap magic in a matter of minutes . Lol. I had a lot of fun, but wish I knew then what I do now.

Didn't want to post the direct image (it's gigantic for some reason) and of course looks like ass.

From left to right:

Washburn x12 QVS My first guitar. Dad gifted to me in 2006 I think, it was made in 2005. Funny story when I got this I also got an amp to go with it but it was a tiny bass amp with no built in gain/dirt channel.

Jackson Kelly JS30KE The guitar I went out and got for myself after finally getting a proper amp and actually learning to play (took me like 2-3 years to actually decide to stick with it, the first amp hindered me pretty hard). Made in 2008 I think I got it late 2008/early 2009.

Epiphone G400 Just got this on November 4th (Rosa Parks birthday) so I named her Rosa. Doesn't come through the picture too well but it's a satin/stain finish and feels real nice. 2014 model.

Don't have a pic and too lazy to get one but the amp I use is a Peavey Bandit 112 Solo Series from the early-mid 90's and it's built like an absolute tank and doesn't sound half bad either. I do want to get something else eventually though.

And so the other thread is never forgotten:

I have no new gear, but some news is the Kelly hasn't been fully assembled in about 8 months lol. Gonna spoil myself with new pickups for it on Christmas maybe.

I have developed such a sincere love for my SG it's unbelievable, made in China be damned this thing is excellent.

Question for the bass players, do you guys have experience with short scale (30 inch)? If so was there a noticeable difference in sound?
