you have a point when it comes to potential dps, but good luck consistently getting groups big enough for potentially 5 hits in p8 games.

it's not just a matter of "building" but rather the team you play with. with proper coordination and conviction i'm sure it can be a baller, but that's not how public games tend to go.
i'm sure in p1 or p2 it rocks, but for Classic p8 public CS runs i think amazon is lower tier, no real competition for blizzard or blessed hammer.

javazon damage comes from pierce you want to max it, the difference is even worse if you go for 69% like was suggested earlier.

LF has a 1% damage synergy that doesn't compare to the damage increase from maxing pierce

and yes, javazon kills just as fast if not faster than blizz and hdin if it is built correctly (against non light immune ofc)


Damage is still shit without conviction or lower resists. Nice theory craft though lmao

I recently started my first classic amazon and would like to ask for some general advice on building it from anyone who is out there

I just hit A2 nightmare, mostly been relying on Exploding Arrow and occasionally Guided Arrow. Should I be respeccing to Jav at some point? if so, when? 35?

What's gonna be the best way to handle Duriel? I'm kinda scared of using Charged Strike (solo playing hardcore)

You can use bow or javelin. If you use bow then use freezing arrow and strafe. There is a guide for it in the stickies: https://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=63424144&f=57

If you go for javelin I recommend a hybrid.

20 Lightning Fury
20 Plague Javelin
20 Poison Javelin
20 Pierce
1+ Valkyrie

This is assuming you are soloing.

Terrible advice from a theory crafter that doesn't play
Might make a cute light show for end game, but you cant play with that

Rest to plague
Get 1 into decoy

Something a theory crafter could never understand, step in game and actually try to play your build.

I want you to post a level by level guide on how your skills are supposed to be distributed

I know my build works because I played through single player with it.

Please if you post, hashtag it with untested theory build. K thanks

Valk vs decoy is a play style preference, I prefer decoy, but have nothing against valk use
