by "one shot" its more like a few seconds to get down an end game boss, and you can easily do it without any spectacular gear
what they did to make some of these fights longer is invuln phases, which is totally pathetic

are u doing bosses with no mods?

im doing maps random alched/8 mods corrupt

Depends on your build sure ele hit is op etc. Arc traps and what not.

show me a build that's doing guardians/shaper/uber elder and killing them in a few seconds with bad gear and I'll believe it.
