Lets see
First he didn't play in 82, he played in 81.
Second his fg % was the worst of his career(outside of his first two years in Orlando)
What's even worse if the previous year in Atlanta he averaged 13ppg on 8spg. This year in Charlotte he averaged 16ppg on 11spg.
This man didn't have a good year. Charlotte is just ass enough to play him and give him block touches.
Ummm.....
- He did not miss a single game due to injury. The one game he missed was due to suspension because he had too many techs called on the season. He was healthy enough to play all season.
- His 55.5% FG was good enough for 11th best in the entire NBA.
- He averaged 16.4 PPG, 12.5 RPG, 1.6 BLK, and 1.3 AST per game.
- His 12.5 Rebounds per game was good enough for 4th best in the NBA.
- His 20.56 PER was top 35 in the NBA.
This man had a good year. Period.
Just because you're comparing him to his insane Hall of Fame caliber seasons when he was an absolute superstar and MVP caliber player doesn't mean he didn't have a good year now...
