especially as 99.8% of all games worth playing came out some time before 2016

I remember the days when $50 motherboards came with free 2x4gb kits.

GPU prices are mostly back to normal...

unless pubg, which still runs on my 780ti quite great, there is no real need for upgrades imo. also ps4 has tons of cool games which makes a console enough imo.

GPU prices are the same place they were last spring when stuff was still being released. Ram is still higher, last fall I got 16gb ddr4 3k mhz for $120, now that's 150 min.
