there are currently detention centers for children, separate from the detention centers for the adults. in some areas i'm sure there are centers where families are detained all together, it depends on the locality.

the Trump administration is looking to build more tent city detention centers specifically in Texas.


for anyone curious this is the story that the Samantha Bee ill advised tweet was about, its a story that's really slowly breaking. and for every one legitimate video there seem to be a few that are fake or not from this. lots of hyperbole and tinfoil to dig through.
