As we can see. The people who voted "no" are generally toxic and flustered. No need to consider their votes.

Paul doesn't care significantly about $$ or the players. He doesn't care about the money because if he did he wouldn't have made the changes he did in the past that lost the whole player base. He made the changes because he wanted to and he's the creator so end of story. If he was hunting for cash he'd just accept anything and let majority win. He's gone AGAINST majority in the MAJORITY of cases thus losing players and losing $$. I would say at the current time that he definitely cares about the current player base more than $$ and if that did grow he would benefit from it obviously.

It's very easy to judge someone via internet without having real contact with them, especially since we're all awaiting new content anxiously and other than events rarely see it.

Implementing this will change both player base and the economy:

1. Increased prices for essences. [Maybe back to 100 - 1,000 fg depending on level and quality]
2. Decrease the amount of normal items being sold at the marketplace. [Due to people welling them and selling them at the marketplace for more forum gold because essences will be more valuable]
3. Increased item prices. [Based on player base increase gambling, old players returning and so on]
4. etc

At the end of the day, it proves to be more beneficial, even those that say muting will take longer, they forget that there would be more items put on marketplace for them to skill higher and faster. As for those people saying no because the length of time it takes to get prof, don't forget that most of you guys started transmuting around v1.15 (Think old muting system was prior to 1.15), thus events never existed, which at times increase your prof gain when using the mute skill.

Even though I don't really like the idea of implementing this without looking that the other fundamentals of the game that need to be altered a bit more, I still see the basic [BASIC] appeal for doing it.

Which events increase skulking prof gain?

There are events that make skills go faster, but you receive reduced prof gains. Also allowing you to skill at a higher level, at which point you can get back to “normal” prof gain... but I don’t think any really increase your prof gain

yeah but faster muting means more prof per time spend and you get less exhausted by it, so it buffs it quite significantly

To be honest, not much gain for Transmuting with events, but, I did not go through all the 263 pages to find out... maybe Paul will change the events to favor Transmuting if he implements this idea.

No, that doesnt count.
prof =/= experience.

experience counts towards playing catacombs from lvl 1 to 71 to mq but not towards prof lvls.
